Sterling ITI outside air temperature sensor - designed for accurate, reliable temperature monitoring in outdoor or industrial environments. Built for durability and performance, they deliver dependable readings even in challenging conditions.

Temperature range of this sensor is -50 to 150C, please note the optional transmitter has an ambient range -40 to 85C. Standard Transmitter Scaling is 4mA at -25C and 20mA at 75C (or ranged to your requirement).

At the core of the sensor is a rugged 4 mm diameter sheathed RTD probe, positioned inside a 13 mm x 45mm protective outer tube. The tube is precision-drilled to enhance airflow around the sensing element, ensuring faster response times and improved measurement accuracy.

The terminals are housed in a tough die-cast aluminium enclosure rated to IP66, providing excellent protection against dust and water ingress. Inside, you can choose between a 4-terminal connector block or an integrated transmitter for straightforward system integration.

An IP68 cable gland is fitted on the right-hand side of the enclosure, accommodating cable diameters from 2.5 mm to 6.5 mm for secure, weatherproof connections.
