The outer shell of the hot cell is made of SUS304 stainless steel with a thickness of ≥2 mm and is finished with a brushed surface.
The inner liner is made of SUS316L stainless steel with a thickness of ≥ 3 mm, and the hot cell liner is equipped with a front polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) panel. The surface is smooth and easy to clean. The bottom plate of the inner liner consists of 2 to 3 separate stainless steel plates for easy disassembly and cleaning, with no hard-to-clean sanitary dead corners. The entire inner liner is of one-piece construction, and all corners are rounded with a radius of 10 mm.
The entire framework is manufactured from high-strength structural steel, with all joints fully welded using full-length weld beads and treated with multiple layers of anti-rust paint.
When manually pushing the hot cell door to the desired position, the resistance should be appropriate, and the inertial effect should be small. The hot cell door shall not move on its own after being stopped at any position. During long-term daily use with the door frequently opened at large angles, the door hinge shall not deform or become misaligned.
The lighting uses a cold light source with an illuminance of 300 Lx, and an ozone generator is provided for sterilization. Additionally, the hot cell liner is equipped with a hydrogen peroxide disinfection port interface and UV lamps for sterilization.
The hot cell shall be equipped with an ionization well providing no less than 70 mm Pb shielding to meet necessary radiation protection requirements. The ionization well shall accommodate the installation space for activity meters of different brands. The installation position of the ionization well shall be convenient for operation, and its size shall match the activity meter. The layout of the chamber worktop shall be compatiblewith the installation of other brands of automatic dispensing systems, without interfering with the full operation of the mechanical gripper.
The stainless steel panels on the decorative surface of the rear area of the hot cell shall be equipped with a quick-release fastening mechanism, and each decorative panel shall be provided with an operating handle.
The side of the inner liner is provided with a passage to the material buffer chamber, and materials are transferred to the material buffer chamber through a sliding shielded door. A buffer outlet for radioactive drugs (15 mL vials) is provided, with a pass-through channel that accommodates 15 mL vials of different specifications.
The activity meter is liftable, the gripper jaws are appropriately extended, the manipulator is used for direct gripping, and the gripper is equipped with a retractable sealing boot made of particle-free silicone material.
